The distinguished art of organ building lies in the fusion of excellent craftsmanship, technical ability and musicians.

The musician develops the vision, the technician and designer use this vision to create an idea, the craftsman makes the instrument
and the musician finally completes
it to its perfection by means of intonation.
It is this unity which makes the organ a real work of art.

Each one of our organs is an individual work of art which has been designed and made specially for the respective customer. The technical precision and the artistic quality are an expression of our experience gained for many years in the field of pipe organ building.

Today, we can look back on a tradition of organ building  since 1855, providing instruments for churches and halls in Saxon and Central Germany. For several generations, practicing musicians and organists have been members of the company's management team. Thus, they can give their own expression to the instruments.
Voicing forms an essential part of the special artistic dimension. It is carried out by two to three voicers and organists of our company with great care, particularly when installing the organ. After the voicing from the console, all register ranks and individual ranks are checked again and again in the hall or church.

The company has been involved for a long time, in extensive restoration work of important historical instruments.
This intimate knowledge of many historic instruments has enabled the employees to build up an almost unique knowledge of organ building throughout the ages and enables them to incorporate, the best of the centuries, in the designs.

Although the organ has always reached new climaxes in its development for many centuries, it remains a work that is further to be perfected from our view. In this sense, we permanently work on new developments. It is a basic prerequisite not to change the nature of the "classical" organ, but to further develop it - in the same way as centuries before.

The saying written on a board by Christian Friedrich Raspe, the founder of the company in 1855, has been transferred by Charlotte Voigt who put the heritage, which had been well preserved by her, into the new workshop of her son in 1905.

These words are relevant today and still inspires today's workers at their benches.
